About Lucky Die Productions
Lucky Die Productions started the way most good things do...with a group of friends, a ridiculous idea, and absolutely no plan for how to pull it off.
My name is Jacob Miller. I'm a Dungeon Master, a video editor, a producer, and apparently the kind of person who starts a production company in his spare time. Lucky Die is something I've been building toward for a while...not just as a channel, but as a real creative home for the people I make things with.
The cast and crew of Lucky Die are all actors. We met doing immersive theater in Los Angeles, and we've been making things together for almost ten years. We are performers who know how to find the moment, how to listen, and how to make something real out of thin air. That's what makes our shows feel different, and it's what we are most proud of.
Our debut actual play series, Wish, is everything I hoped this first project could be. It's funny, it's surprising, it's full of characters I genuinely love, and it goes places I think you won't see coming. It's built on the bones of a great adventure and held together by the chemistry of a group that's spent a decade learning how to tell stories together.
I've handled most of the production solo...the scheduling, the editing, the VFX, the website, the channel, the company itself. Our character art was created by the incredibly talented Olivia, and the visual identity of the show was built in collaboration with Morgan, who helped bring my drawings to life as finished assets.
This is a passion project in the truest sense. We're not backed by a studio. We're not a big team with a lot of resources. We're just a group of people who love this game, love each other, and love making things worth watching.
We hope you'll come along for the ride.
Stay lucky.
— Jacob
RED CREAM
played by Mason Conrad
Red is young fire genasi that was born out of the weave. This world is incredible new to him and so are his chaotic powers, which seem to be connected to his emotions. He is incredibly reactive, sensitive and curious. Every day he learns a little bit more about himself and his new friends are teaching him about being a hero. He thinks of Sweet Cream as his brother and he is often searching for parental type figures. Of all the strange elements that come out of his body, fire feels the best.
Mason Conrad is an actor, writer, and director based in Los Angeles, California. He can also be heard roleplaying on The Real Housewives of DND and The Film Reroll. He is co-creator of the theatre company, The Queen's Fools - an immersive clownish Shakespeare company. Meet Rowan Flute; a 27-year-old half elf bard who is hot… but like… sad hot. Rowan once made a living ‘solving problems’ for people willing to help fund his music. The jobs were easy enough at first, but then Rowan got in over his head. One night after finishing a particularly messy job Rowan found himself exhausted, half drunk, and one step ahead of hired thugs. Rowan muttered a wish into the dark, “I wish, just once, I could help people who actually deserve it.” The words drifted across the planes, and something heard them…
Rowan Flute is voiced by Misha Reeves who is also hot… but like… sad hot. Misha’s many voices can be heard on the hit podcast The Real Housewives of Dungeons & Dragons. Screen credits include a slew of genre bending indies including the cult horror-comedy Val. Misha is proving once and for all that gingers do have souls, and she’ll steal yours, too.
